First-Time Home Buyer Program

The City of Citrus Heights First-Time Home Buyer Program is available to purchase a home in the City of Citrus Heights. To help you with your down-payment and closing costs, we provide you with a second mortgage of up to $55,000 with fully-deferred payments. Your first mortgage must be provided by a CalHFA lender.

 

You must qualify as a “low-income” family for this program and you must complete approved home buyer education classes. For more details, please see the program flyer (PDF 168KB).
